Grant Application Procedure
Initial contact with the Crail-Johnson Foundation should be in the form of a letter of inquiry, which describes the applicant organization and summarizes the purpose of the project and the need it meets. The amount of the request, methods to be employed, duration of the project and anticipated outcomes should also be included.
Letters of inquiry should not exceed three pages in length and should not be placed in a binder or folder of any kind. Please attach a detailed project budget and current verification of federal tax-exempt status.
Letters of inquiry are accepted October
through December each year for the following year's grant
cycle and are generally considered in the order in which they are received. Applicants will be notified regarding the status of their request within one month after it is received. Organizations selected to submit proposals will be asked to complete a Grant Application Form provided by the Foundation.
Please do not send unsolicited proposals with extensive attachments, videotapes, and/or DVD's. |
